Guidance Team

Mrs. Kathryn Penton, our guidance counselor, would like our students and their families to know that Guidance Services will still be provided while we are in Scenario 3. Our teachers will be working with Mrs. Penton to deliver virtual lessons on socioemotional learning, as well as provide support for students who may be struggling during this very uncertain time. We kindly ask that you please review the following points and ensure your child is aware of these supports:

• Any student who was previously receiving counseling in-person, and are interested in connecting by-phone, are asked to please e-mail Mrs. Kathryn Penton (kathrynpenton@nlesd.ca)

• Any student or family member who would like our guidance counselor to "check in" may reach out to their child's classroom teacher, or directly to Mrs. Kathryn Penton (kathrynpenton@nlesd.ca)
